Food Marketing Jobs
A marketer’s role is to entice consumers to purchase food products from grocery store shelves and from food service outlets. In retail, food marketers can work with product development and packaging teams to create food and beverage products that satisfy the needs and wants of consumers. Marketers also develop coupon campaigns, in-store promotions, store merchandising, product variations, and more. Food marketers can also work in the hospitality industry, working to promote food services. A job as a food marketer will require a diploma or degree in marketing, advertising, sales, or a related field. Some job titles include marketing manager, marketing coordinator, promotional marketer, retail marketing specialist, and food service marketing specialist.
