  • 5+ years of HR Generalist/Manager experience, with a strong focus on employee relations, talent management, and compliance.

Position Summary:

TheHuman Resources Managerplays a critical role in leading and managing allHR-related functionswithin the plant. This position partners withlocal plant leadershipand collaborates with HR teams across North America tosupport recruitment, retention, employee development, and engagement initiatives. The role also ensurescompliance with employment laws, company policies, and industry best practicesto foster a productive and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Leadership & Compliance:

  • Oversee thedaily management of all HR functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Ensurefull compliancewith company HR policies, labor laws, and employment regulations.
  • Provideguidance and supportto managers onemployee relations, performance management, and policy adherence.
  • Leadrecruitment, selection, and onboarding effortsto attract and retain top talent.
  • Overseepayroll functionsat the plant level to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Employee Development & Engagement:

  • Develop and implement programs torecruit, retain, develop, and motivate high-quality employees.
  • Support managers incoaching, training, and talent development initiativesto enhance workforce capabilities.
  • Driveorganizational change and communication programsto promote a positive work culture.
  • Partner with third-party providers, includingtraining organizations and recruitment agencies, to optimize talent development efforts.
  • Serve as a key member of theJoint Health and Safety Committee, promoting a culture of workplace safety.
  • Ensure compliance withEarly and Safe Return to Work programs, supporting employees through workplace transitions.

Strategic HR Initiatives & Collaboration:

  • EstablishHR performance standards and objectives, aligning them with business goals.
  • Work closely withHR teams across multiple locationsto share best practices and drive consistency.
  • Supportfood safety and quality policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Providebackup supportfor theHuman Resources Generalistas needed.
