Job Description:

This is an entrepreneurial position for someone driven by results proactive, ambitious, and eager to succeed. You?ll work closely with leadership to bring an innovative solution to an emerging market while benefiting from a strong network of established relationships built through long-standing industry partnerships.


Business Development & Prospecting

You will be responsible for developing the company?s presence in the eastern U.S. market, focusing on direct outreach and building strong relationships with dairy producers.

  • Identify and approach new prospects within the dairy industry.
  • Present solutions clearly and confidently, adapting your message to each client?s individual needs and circumstances.
  • Leverage existing lead-generation channels while creating your own business opportunities.
  • Plan and optimize your schedule efficiently, combining field presence and remote work to maximize impact across your territory.
  • Attend regional agricultural events and trade shows to increase brand awareness and develop relationships.
  • Maximize productivity while ensuring a strong presence across your assigned territory.


Sales & Pipeline Management

You?ll manage fast-paced, transactional sales cycles, taking each opportunity from prospecting through installation.

  • Qualify prospects and demonstrate the tangible impact of the solution on farm safety and performance.
  • Negotiate and close deals efficiently.
  • Coordinate the installation process and confirm client satisfaction.
  • Maintain light post-sale follow-up to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Collaborate with partner electricians and the internal team to ensure seamless operations.


Representation & Brand Visibility

  • As an ambassador for the company, you?ll help strengthen its presence and reputation throughout your territory.
  • Represent the company professionally at key industry events, fostering visibility and credibility within the agricultural community.
  • Build strong relationships with key partners, including insurers, distributors, and producer associations.
  • Position the company as a trusted ally for prevention and herd health solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration and local partnerships.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in sales, business development, or field representation; an agriculture background is a significant asset.
  • Interest in or experience with the dairy production industry.
  • Ability to manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation through installation follow-up.
  • Comfortable using digital tools and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • Valid driver?s license and willingness to travel frequently by car and plane.
