CM Human Resource Manager

Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management / M.B.A.
5-8+ years experience as an HR generalist in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Employee Relations / Employment Law seminars, PHR, SPHR, and/or CCP preferred.


Investigation and documentation of employee concerns and performance management issues, including evaluating disciplinary actions, written warnings, suspensions, and dismissals by utilizing an established set of HR tools and methodologies.
Facilitate communication between employees and management by conducting focus groups, round table discussions, and plant visits.
Interprets, educates and provides support and counsel on HR policies as necessary; ensures fair and consistent application of company policies, procedures, federal and state laws.
Conduct employee relations plant visits:
Provide summary and recommended action plans to area management.
Follow up to ensure issues were resolved and report on the follow-up actions (create follow up timeline/reporting process).
Responsible for the overall functions related to data entry and HRIS audits.
Facilitate hourly new hire orientations/onboarding.
Responsible for on-site temporary employee process:
Communicate with on-site reps regarding needs or concerns
Communicate with supervisors regarding the need for temp employees
Create standardized temp agency audit process (I-9, drug testing, eligible to work at WP&A, invoices)
Generate, track and send weekly reports to all temp agencies
Support layoff/recall process -- work with employee relations.
Generate and track seasonal to full-time evaluations.
Provide HR manager monthly list of evaluations not turned in
Open communication with benefits specialist regarding who is eligible for seasonal to full-time orientations
Develop and populate turnover reports.

Compensation & Benefits Administration
Assist the HRM during the annual performance and merit review process to ensure accurate implementation and timely completion.
Manage and administer employee benefits plans, leave of absence process and wellness initiatives.
Assist in responding and resolving employee medical insurance billing & utilization questions & concerns.
Process and track short and long-term disability.
Process disability and life insurance claims.
Assist with the 401K process as needed.
