Location:Bay Shore, NY
Shift:6:30 AM- 3 PM and2:30 PM 11:00 PM
Pay Rate:$18.00 $20.00/hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and organized Tool Crib Attendant to support our Maintenance teams. This position is responsible for managing maintenance parts, tools, and supplies while maintaining accurate inventory and keeping the Tool Crib organized.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue and receive tools, parts, and supplies for authorized employees.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and track parts and tools.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate when items need to be reordered.
- Organize, label, and maintain the Tool Crib and storage areas.
- Assist with receiving and properly storing maintenance parts and supplies.
- Track returned tools and equipment and report missing or damaged items.
- Work closely with Maintenance and Warehouse teams to ensure needed parts and supplies are available.
- Follow all safety, inventory control, and material handling procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
- Flexible availability, including weekends.
- Experience with parts inventory and inventory control.
- Knowledge of maintenance parts, tools, and supplies preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
Schedule
Weekend availability required.
