Senior Maintenance & Engineering ManagerShenandoah Valley, Virginia | $150,000-$175,000 base + bonus | Relocation assistance availableWe represent an established food manufacturer seeking a senior leader to oversee maintenance, engineering, automation, and supporting plant services. The immediate focus is improving equipment reliability, strengthening maintenance programs, and developing the technical team.
This is a leadership position, with department leaders reporting to you. It could offer advancement for an experienced Maintenance & Engineering Manager ready for broader responsibility.
Responsibilities- Lead technical teams and partner with Operations to improve plant reliability and performance.
- Strengthen preventive maintenance, work planning, and spare parts management.
- Oversee engineering projects, equipment improvements, and plant infrastructure.
- Manage budgets, develop department leaders, and help hire a Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications- At least 10 years of progressively responsible maintenance or engineering management experience.
- At least five years of food manufacturing experience.
- Strong maintenance and reliability background with demonstrated team leadership.
- Experience managing managers preferred; qualified candidates seeking advancement will be considered.
- Engineering or related degree preferred. Extensive relevant experience may substitute.
Schedule and benefitsPrimarily Monday-Friday, day shift, with flexibility to support plant needs outside normal hours. This is an onsite role.
