Food Talent Solutions has partnered with a growing food manufacturer to identify aProject Engineerto support capital investment and productivity improvement projects at its Terre Haute manufacturing operation.
This is a hands-on engineering position responsible for managing projects from planning through equipment installation and startup, working closely with suppliers, contractors, Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations.
Key Role Information
- Manage manufacturing projects ranging from productivity improvements to new equipment and capital investments
- Own project schedules, costs, documentation, and coordination to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors, project teams, and equipment manufacturers
- Serve as an onsite technical resource during equipment installation, testing, fabrication, and startup
- Develop technical documentation, troubleshooting procedures, equipment information, and PM-related engineering data
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the Engineering function
What We?re Looking For
- Engineering background with experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience managing capital equipment, installation, or manufacturing improvement projects
- Strong project management, organization, and technical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work hands-on with manufacturing equipment and systems
- Experience coordinating equipment suppliers, contractors, and internal project teams
- Food, beverage, CPG, pharmaceutical, or other process manufacturing experience is a plus
