Education & Experience Requirements:

- Six Sigma background is a plus.

Position Summary:
TheProject Engineering Managerleads all engineering functions within the plant, ensuring alignment withSafety, Quality, Environmental, Production, and Cost goals. This role is critical in fostering asafe working environmentand ensuring theeffective design and execution of capital projects. The position collaborates closely withoperations managementto drivecontinuous improvement, leveragingtechnological advancementsto enhance plant performance. Additionally, the role is responsible fordeveloping and sustaining a high-performing engineering teamto ensure long-term operational efficiency and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety & Environmental Leadership
- Integratesafety and environmental considerationsinto all engineering and capital project activities.
- Ensure compliance with allsafety standards and regulatory requirementsto maintain a safe workplace.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Establishambitious goalsfor both personal and team performance, aligning with organizational objectives.

Capital Project Management
- Oversee thedevelopment, planning, and executionof theCapital Expenditure Program (CEP).
- Ensure projects are completedon time, within budget, and aligned with design standards.
- Lead the development of afive-year capital strategyto support long-term plant needs.
Procurement & Supply Chain Alignment
- Managesupply and capital purchasing programsto support both plant operations and theCEP.
- Align plant engineering objectives withNorth American and Global Procurement strategies.
Controls & Automation Oversight
- Ensureinstrumentation, control systems, and documentationeffectively support the plant?squality and production goals.
- Work closely withcontrols engineering teamsto optimize automation and system reliability.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Lead engineering and purchasing teams to drivecontinuous improvementinprocesses, equipment reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Develop and executeinitiativesthat align with corporate strategies and enhance plant competitiveness.
Team Development & Leadership
- Build and lead ahigh-performing engineering team, fosteringtechnical leadership and excellence.
