Financial Specialist Intern

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe primary responsibilities of this role are to:

Assist with cost initiatives and projects;
Develop financial visualization to support stakeholders;
Analyze cost center spending and value flow (assessments) for consistency with the operational plan;
Gain knowledge and understanding of product costing and variance analysis to better support operations;
Collaborate with site leadership, operation teams and controllers to ensure drivers of financial impacts are understood.

WHO YOU ARE Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: Required Qualifications:

Pursuing a minimum of Bachelor s Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerBi.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrate alignment with Bayer s Values;
Excellent ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels and with individuals from various parts of the organization;
Motivated, self-starting individual with proven ability prioritize multiple projects and work effectively in a team environment.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $22.10 to $28.50. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..
