Field Territory Leader

Responsibilities:

• Ensure production targets are achieved in a timely, safe and cost efficient manner, all within the quality standard and in full alignment with company values.

• The job entails: coordinating the daily field activities requirement from the field service provider.

• Working with growers and local government leaders within the contract growing location for the production of hybrid seed corn.

• Facilitate seed grower contracting with input from the Field Operations Leader, Legal and Finance departments.

• Planning and securing field area requirements based on the volume plan for seed production; ensuring availability of resources (manpower, farm equipment and tools, facilities and raw materials) needed in the production of high quality hybrid seeds.

• Ensure the accuracy in the implementation of sound agronomy management in planting, fertilizer application, irrigation, weed, insects and disease control for maximum yield level.

• Ensuring Corteva quality standards of isolation, rouging and detasseling are implemented and met in close coordination with the Quality Assurance Leader.

• Scheduling and controlling harvest flow in close coordination with the Plant Operations Leader or harvest coordinator.

• Ensuring safe, effective and efficient management of field production processes in accordance to Corteva EHS&S policies and brand values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in crop production, field operations, or agribusiness.

• Strong leadership and coordination skills.

• Familiarity with seed production processes and quality standards.

• Ability to work with growers, government officials, and internal teams.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data reporting

• Working Conditions: Outdoor - Field: 80%; Indoor - Office: 20%
