Seeking committed livestock farm workers on multiple beef feedlots in Dufferin County. Various agricultural tasks are completed daily.
Duties- Maintaining livestock herd health which includes routine pen walk throughs.
- Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Assisting with seasonal cultivating, tilling, forage harvesting with tractor and dump wagons, baling.
- Manure spreading with modern equipment.
- Cleaning and maintaining farm grounds and buildings.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks at times, including moving materials in the barns.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for various farming activities.
- Follow safety protocols while operating heavy equipment and handling tools.
- Assisting fellow employees where needed.
Education, Experience, Requirements- Minimum 2-3 years of agricultural experience an asset.
- Experience operating farming equipment required.
- Drivers license and access to personal transportation required.
