Egg Farmers of Ontario currently has an opportunity for a Field Inspections Team Lead to join the Operations team.General Overview: The primary focus of the Field Inspections Team Lead position is to support and supervise the Field Inspectors in delivering EFO’s on-farm programs and policies, with a focus on strengthening service delivery standards and ensuring consistency and accountability.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:- Develop and implement an Inspection Consistency Program to ensure on-farm programs are delivered
- Set service delivery standards and implement tracking and reporting mechanisms to demonstrate consistency and accountability.
- Take action to address deviations from service standards.
- Develop and track key performance indicators. Set annual goals and objectives, determine training and development needs, and conduct performance reviews with all direct reports.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) related to on-farm programs and activities.
- Conduct farm visits and inspections to support the inspection team, as required.
Qualifications:- Post Secondary education in a business or agriculture-related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Ability to drive throughout Ontario through all weather conditions. A valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle are mandatory.
- Bilingual in English and French would be considered an asset.
- Skilled in using the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in a poultry/agriculture role is an asset.
