Job Summary
We are seeking a skilledHVAC Technicianto maintain, troubleshoot, and repairheating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systemswithin our production and facility environment. This role is responsible for ensuring thattemperature-controlled systems operate efficiently, which is critical for maintaining food safety and product quality.
The ideal candidate has experience working withcommercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferredto support communication with operations teams.
What You?ll Do
Performpreventive maintenance, inspections, and servicingof HVAC and refrigeration systems
Troubleshoot and repairheating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment
Monitor and maintaintemperature-controlled environmentsrequired for food production and storage
Inspect and maintaincompressors, condensers, evaporators, fans, and duct systems
Identify potential system issues and performrepairs to prevent production disruptions
Maintain accuratemaintenance logs and documentationfor all HVAC work performed
Work closely withmaintenance, production, and facility teamsto ensure proper environmental conditions
Ensure compliance withOSHA, food safety regulations, and company safety standards
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in asafe and organized condition
Communicate effectively when coordinating with staff
What You Bring to the Table
?Education:High school diploma or equivalent required;HVAC technical certification or vocational training preferred
?Experience:3+ years of experience incommercial HVAC or refrigeration maintenance
?Licensing:EPA Certification or HVAC licensing preferred
?Technical Skills:Knowledge ofHVAC systems, refrigeration systems, electrical controls, and mechanical components
?Troubleshooting Skills:Ability todiagnose and repair HVAC system failures efficiently
?Safety Awareness:Understanding ofOSHA safety standards and refrigeration safety protocols
?Bilingual:English and Spanish(Preferred not Required)
?Physical Requirements:Ability tolift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in production environments
