Maintenance Supervisor

Pilgrim'sis looking for a Maintenance Superintendent to supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across the facility. This role ensuresoptimalequipment performance, reliable utility systems, and efficient facility operations while leading maintenance teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 

Responsibilities: 

• Supervise maintenance team responsible for repair, installation, and upkeep of plant equipment, facilities, and utility systems. 

• Plan, assign, and monitor work schedules to ensuretimelyand effective completion of maintenance activities. 

• Maintain production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. 

• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to ensure consistent execution and equipment reliability. 

• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and support team members in problem-solving and technical development. 

• Support facility improvements and manage procurement of tools, equipment, and supplies to drive efficient operations. 

• Other duties as assigned. 

WhatYou’llNeed: 

• Education:High School Diploma or GEDrequired;Bachelor’sdegree preferred; 

• Experience:Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in poultry or food manufacturing. Experience with processing equipment and industrial maintenance systems; 

• Skills:Working knowledge of refrigeration, PLCs/electrical systems, proficiency in plumbing, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems, strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, basic computer skills and ability to support maintenance systems, and ability to become Haz-Mat team qualified.
