Food Talent Solutions has partnered with an established food manufacturer to identify a hands-on Maintenance Manager for its Omaha facility.
This individual will lead a team of three maintenance technicians and take ownership of maintenance execution across a single-shift operation with approximately 60 70 employees. The role requires someone who can lead the department while remaining actively involved in troubleshooting, repairs and plant-floor support.
KEY ROLE INFORMATION
Lead, schedule and develop three maintenance technicians
Oversee preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and refrigeration-related systems
Support food-processing, conveying and packaging equipment
Improve equipment reliability, PM execution and overall plant uptime
Coordinate maintenance priorities with production, quality and sanitation
Manage work orders, maintenance records, spare parts and outside vendors
Support equipment installations, plant projects and continuous improvements
Ensure maintenance work meets plant safety, food-safety and regulatory requirements

TARGET CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have maintenance leadership experience within food, beverage or another high-speed manufacturing environment. Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills are important, along with experience leading technicians and developing effective preventive-maintenance practices.
Protein, meat-processing, packaging or refrigerated-manufacturing experience would be especially relevant. This position is best suited for a leader who is equally comfortable managing the department and stepping onto the floor to help solve technical problems.
