MAINTENANCE HOURLY

Description

Responsibilities: Candidates will have the ability to either work in a setting that will allow them to perform work on electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, or welding.Work may involve setting up machinery andequipment,tearing down,andoverhaulingequipment such asgear boxes.

Job Tasks:

Inspect,operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.

Inspect mechanical equipment tolocatedamage, defects, or wear.

Test mechanicalto ensure proper functioning.

Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, usinghoists, andhand tools, or power tools.

Disassemble equipment for maintenance or repair. Operate hoists, or other moving or lifting equipment.

Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance.

Inspect mechanical components toidentifyproblems.

Replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts.

Trouble shoot electrical controls andcomponents,and repair as needed.

BASIC SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 1-2 years industrial maintenance experience preferred
Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment
General mathematics ability required to perform job
Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures
Must be able to work assigned days/shifts (including some weekends)
