Our client is seeking a hands-on Maintenance & Reliability Manager with strong mechanical troubleshooting ability and experience in a food or light industrial manufacturing environment for our Texas site. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable working directly on packaging/production equipment on the floor as they are coordinating maintenance activities, vendors, and preventative maintenance programs.
This person should have a
doer-leader
mindset able to personally diagnose and repair equipment issues while also helping bring structure and discipline to maintenance processes, reducing downtime, and improving overall equipment reliability.
The strongest candidates will likely come from food manufacturing, packaging, or similar high-throughput production environments where they have been responsible for both day-to-day maintenance execution and supporting broader reliability or maintenance coordination efforts. PLC or basic controls knowledge is a plus, but the emphasis should be on practical, hands-on mechanical ability and accountability for uptime.
