Agricultural Irrigation Service TechnicianLocation: Perham, MN (approximately one hour southeast of Fargo, ND)
We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Irrigation Technician to join our clients dynamic team. This hands-on role involves installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of irrigation systems. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional with strong electrical and mechanical skills specific to agricultural irrigation equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Repair, service, and install new and used irrigation systems, from wells to center pivots
- Troubleshoot and repair electrically-driven irrigation systems, including radio controls, GPS systems, and pivot operations
- Wire and test new and used irrigation components
- Operate heavy equipment such as boom trucks, telehandlers, and forklifts as needed
- Assist with other business-related tasks as required
- Work some weekends during the irrigation season
Qualifications:- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills specific to irrigation systems
- Solid mechanical background, especially in agriculture or farming industries
- Experience operating heavy equipment (boom trucks, forklifts, telehandlers)
- Dependable, self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Class B Installer License preferred or willingness to obtain
