Job Title:Multi-Craft Industrial Maintenance Technician (PLC)
Location:Knoxville, TN
Shift:2nd Shift (preferred with $1 shift differential). 1st shift.
Compensation:$28 - $34/hr + benefits.
Job Summary:
We?re a nationwide food manufacturer looking for a skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you?ll install, maintain, and repair a wide range of equipment from conveyors and packaging machines to pumps and electrical systems. If you?re a hands-on problem solver with a background in industrial maintenance, we?d love to hear from you. Although the qualified candidate is a true multi-craft mechanic, they will have strong competency in low voltage and PLC troubleshooting. PLC programming is not a part of this role.
Job Requirements:
- 2-year technical degree in Electrical/Mechanical repairand4+ years of multi-craft industrial maintenance experience
or 7 years relevant experience
- Experience with high-speed food or pharmaceutical packaging equipment preferred
- Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency with troubleshooting PLCs, welding (TIG, Stick), and power/precision tools
- Able to work in demanding environments (noise, heat, cold, heights) and perform physically active tasks
- Comfortable using forklifts, lifts, and reading technical manuals/blueprints
