CM Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repairmechanical and electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Identify and resolveissues related to electrical and control systems, including sensors, limit switches, solenoids, motors, servos, PLC programming, and PID loops.
• Maintain and repairmechanical systems such as pumps, vacuum pumps, belt drives, gear reduction drives, piping, valves, air handling systems, and material delivery systems.
• Implement safety and continuous improvement initiatives,ensuring equipment calibrations and enhancing system reliability.
• Perform preventative maintenanceon motors, motor control devices, pumps, conveyor systems, instrumentation, and production equipment by following technical documentation, schematics, and manufacturer instructions.
• Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical issuesthrough observation, listening, and the use of precision measurement and testing instruments.
• Minimize downtimeby communicating preventative maintenance procedures and operational best practices to operators, ensuring compliance, and escalating concerns as needed.
• Provide technical supportto operations and other teams, offering guidance on maintenance practices to prevent equipment damage and improve efficiency.
• Fabricate repair parts or process additionsas necessary to support operational needs.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing training and technical assistance to operations and support teams.
