Assistant Maintenance Managerto support maintenance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for helping lead maintenance personnel, improving equipment reliability, and supporting safe, efficient production.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily maintenance operations and workforce coordination.
- Lead and support maintenance technicians in troubleshooting and repair activities.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
- Promote and enforce safety standards and maintenance best practices.
- Partner with operations teams to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend reliability improvements.
- Maintain maintenance records and support budget and cost-control initiatives.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with CMMS software and maintenance planning practices.
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of industrial safety regulations and standards.
Work Environment- Industrial production environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Ability to lift materials and tools as needed.
- Flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and on-call support.
