Dutiesandresponsibilities
ProvideguidanceandinstructiontotheQualityDepartmentandtheoveralloperationtoensurethatgoals/requirementsareachieved.Provideleadership,mentoring,coachingtotheQualityAssuranceteammembers.
Developqualityassuranceplansbyconductinghazardanalyses;identifycriticalcontrolpointsandpreventivemeasures;establishcriticallimits,monitoringprocedures,correctiveactions,andverificationprocedures.
Dailyreviewofallprocesscontrolsrecordstoensurethatinternalcompliancemeasuresandcustomerrequirementsarebeingmet.Ongoingcommunicationswithemployeesarepeersonallqualityissues.
Dailyreviewofallspoilagecollectionsassigningvarioustypestopropersource.Develop,maintainandimproveaspoilagecontrolprogram.
Processandmaintainaccuratecustomerclaimrecords,supplierandmillclaimsinrelevantdatabases.
WorkwiththeCompanyTechnology,Customersand/ortheSalesdepartmenttoresolvequalityquestionsandqualityissues.
Analyzedataandproviderecommendationsforcontinuousimprovement(productquality,spoilagereduction,etc.).LeadandorparticipateonCorrectiveActionTeams(CATteams)asnecessary.
Providequalitysystemtrainingtotheplantpersonnelasnecessary(SPC,FoodSafetyPlans,ProblemSolvingTools,QualitySystems,etc.)
Updatesjobknowledgebystudyingtrendsinanddevelopmentsinqualitymanagement;participatingineducationopportunities;readingprofessionalpublicationsmaintainingpersonalnetworks;participatinginprofessionalorganizations.
Participateandpromoteplantsafetyactivities.

Qualifications
Bachelor?sdegree.PreferablyintheSciences,Engineering,QualityorProjectManagement.
Minimumfive(5)yearshands-onexperienceinamanufacturingenvironmentwithprovenQualityManagementSystemoversightcapability.
Experiencesupervisingsubordinateshighlypreferred.
ProficientinOffice365,(ExcelWord,AccessandPowerPoint).
ExcellentgraspandunderstandingofSPC(StatisticalProcessControl).Six-Sigma,LeanManufacturingorstrongISObackgroundaplus.BasicunderstandingofHACCPandGMPs.
