Compensation:$27.87/hr
Sign-on bonus:$1,500
Principal Accountabilities:- Adhere to all safety requirements, including use of PPE, area inspections, hazard recognition, and pre-operational equipment inspections.
- Address or report hazards found, report deficiencies found with equipment, input work requests into SAP
- Perform tasks in the mining cycle, to facilitate the safe and efficient mining of salt.
- Perform any task assigned by Production Supervisor
Required Qualifications:- Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa, or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
- Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
- Must be able to understand and communicate in English(verbal/written)
- High school degree or GED Equivalent
- Must be able and willing to perform with or without reasonable accommodation: working underground (up to 1800 feet), which involves bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling, twisting, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment
- Able to work overtime, holidays, nights, weekends, and different shifts with advance notice
Preferred Qualifications:- Prior experience in production related work
- Basic Computer skills
