Product Manager - Data Center
Owns the full product lifecycle from ideation through commercial execution, delivering a NPI roadmap and launching differentiated solutions-including a data center liquid cooling QD & coupling portfolio that expands presence in a high-growth, mission-critical market. Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing to optimize performance-leading portfolio rationalization initiatives to reduce complexity, improve service levels, and enhance manufacturing efficiency, while advancing cost reduction measures on legacy products.
Location: Denver, Colorado
Compensation: $140,000 - $155,000 base salary + 10% bonus.
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD, LTD, 401k match (6%), Tuition reimbursement, 3 weeks PTO. Benefits start on the first day of the month following hire.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, on-site position. 15% travel.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Expertise: Build deep knowledge of the data center market by tracking industry indices and trends, participating in industry organizations, consolidating VOC, and monitoring the competitive landscape.
Product Strategy: Translate customer needs, industry requirements, and trends into product roadmaps and requirements for new product development business cases.
Product Champion: Promote Data Center Couplings in the market and partner with commercial team to engage key end customers.
Launch & Delivery: Ensure feature, quality, cost, and schedule objectives are met. Prepare launch materials and document product specs, strategy, plans, and training needs.
Commercial Support: Support top-line results for the product line, including organizational support for major customer orders, resolution of supply chain and production challenges, and preparation of quotations, bids, and negotiation documents.
Global Alignment: Coordinate Regional Product Line Managers across all regions on promotion, pipeline development, product knowledge, and supply chain.
Capacity Planning: Advise on the manufacturing capabilities, capacity, and footprint needed to support market growth and product mix forecasts.
Qualifications Seeking:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business, or Marketing from an accredited institution
5+ years of experience in marketing, outside field sales, application or product engineering, or business development
Advanced Excel skills for sales data analysis and trend graphing, and strong PowerPoint skills for executive-ready presentations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong technical acumen paired with commercial savvy, a strategic mindset, and sound business intuition
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to lead through influence, with or without authority, and build global partnerships across levels and locations
Ability to adapt quickly to change and drive it
Global work experience and perspective are a strength
Experience designing, specifying, or managing products for data centers and/or quick disconnect couplings is highly preferred but not required
