Key Accountabilities
To manage the operations budget within the planned limits through departmental controls and understanding of financial impact to our business.
To create and manage employee development programs to ensure company needs are met, relative to employee knowledge, training, and personal development.
To implement programs that will strengthen employee morale and help with company efforts to retain employees and a non-union status.
To develop and implement safety and health programs that will assure compliance to government regulations and provide all employees with a safe working environment.
Ensure that daily operational results are reported appropriately and timely within our system to provide corpo-rate finance with the information needed to assist with business decisions.
To ensure that quality systems are created and maintained to provide excellent, high quality products to our cus-tomer?s demands.
To ensure the plant is operating within all federal, state, and local regulatory guidelines and to maintain full compliance.
To provide an environment of open communication throughout our organization to assist with the development, information sharing, and decision making necessary to operate our business.
Maintain appropriate relations with our customers to satisfy their overall service needs.
Ensure that appropriate professional relationships are maintained with the community and local business area through company involvement and support of the local Business environment.
Comply with the applicable COMPANY compliance guidelines
Commit to act according to the key management principles and the safety first culture as defined in the COMPANYSafety first policy
Fundamental Requirements
Education / Training:
Degree in Food Science, Business or applicable field
Know-how / Professional Experience:
8-10 years of production management experience, preferably in food industry
Excellent communications skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Computer skills, including knowledge of Windows sys-tem
Demonstrated ability to dissect and analyze problems, to probe facts, and to analyze issues from different prospective to inform decision-making process.
