ThePlantManagerisresponsibleforalloperationsattheplant.ThePlantManagermustdirecttheresourcesofthefacilitysuchthattheplantoperatesinthesafestmannerpossibleandwithinbudgetwhiledeliveringqualityproducts,andsuperiorservice.Ensureoptimaluseofallfacilityresourcestoachievethelowestpossiblecostinthemanufactureofproductsthatmeetcustomerexpectations,andincompliancewithalllocal,state,andfederalregulatoryrequirements.
Responsibilities:
1.Establishclearplantgoalsandobjectivesinalignmentwithcorporatestrategiesandbusinessinitiatives.
2.Coordinatedevelopmentofsubordinatelevelgoalsandactionplansconsistentwiththeoverallplantgoalsandobjectives.
3.Monitorandensurecompliancewithallsafety,foodsafety,environmental,GMPrules,regulationsandpolicies.
4.Monitorandimplementannualcapitalplansthatmaintaintheplantinfrastructure,providefornewproductsandservices,andprovideproductivitysavingsnecessarytomeetfinancialtargets.
5.MaintaincompliancewithState&Federalenvironmentalregulations.
6.GuaranteeplantoperatessafelyandincompliancewithOSHAandregulatorymandates.
7.Ensureplantisoperatedincompliancewithallenvironmentalregulatorystandards.
8.Identification,developmentandexecutionofcostsavings/productivityprojects.
9.Purchasing,toinclude,materials,supplies,andutilities.
10.Managementofmaintenanceinventoryparts&supplies.
11.Overseefoodsafetythroughgoodmanufacturingpracticescompliance.
12.EnsurefinishedgoodsmeetinternalandexternalqualityrequirementsthroughestablishmentofHACCPandotherqualityprocesses.
13.Identifyandimplementinitiativesthatprovideourcustomers?continuousimprovementopportunitiesincustomerservice.
14.Provideleadershipinthecreationofazeroinjuriescultureattheplant.
15.Provideleadershipinthedevelopmentandimplementationofarobustprocesssafetymanagementprogramfortheplant.

Qualifications
Education:Bachelor?sDegreeinFoodScience,Chemistry,Biology,Mechanical/ChemicalEngineeringorequivalent
RelatedExperience:Atleast10yearsofexperienceinPlantandProductionSupervisorypositions;Experienceworkinginaunionenvironmentaplus;ExperienceintheFoodIndustrypreferred
Equipment/SoftwareSkills:MSOfficeSuite(IncludesWord,Excel,PowerPoint,Outlook,Access),AS400
FamiliaritywithPLC,WarehouseManagementSystems,InventoryManagementSystems,PlantAutomationSystems
Mustbeabletointerfacewithmainframe,generalaccounting,MRP,andorderprocessing.
