Job DescriptionOperator II - Bluffton, INADM Animal Nutrition
This is a full-time, hourly position.
2nd Shift 2pm-10pm
POSITION SUMMARY:The role of Operator II will be responsible for the following duties:
- Assist with operating machinery as needed for production and bagging demands
- Conduct ongoing cleaning/housekeeping tasks
- Operate forklifts and other equipment on property
- Stack bags efficiently and safely
- Pick orders, load and unload product
- Assess inventory to ensure proper delivery to customers
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:To be considered for an opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture and understand/follow company safety procedures
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Forklift experience
- Exhibit consistent, prompt attendance
- Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 55 lbs. unassisted, shovel material and operate a vacuum
- Possess a valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation
- Possess strong math aptitude and be familiar with basic computer skills
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude at all times.
SCHEDULE:This is an hourly position. Shift is nights, primarily 10-6, with some overtime required as needed. Demonstrate initiative to work independently on given assignments while remaining flexible enough to work within team setting.
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENT :All other PPE will be provided by the plant.
