Key Responsibilities- Oversee the operation of a large-scale metal shredder and downstream separation systems
- Lead and supervise a team of approximately 12 union employees, ensuring productivity and safety
- Collaborate cross-functionally with maintenance, operations, and site leadership to meet performance goals
- Identify, document, and resolve safety, maintenance, and operational issues
- Manage parts inventory, budgeting, and capital improvement projects
- Support maintenance planning and coordinate equipment upkeep to minimize downtime
- Participate in site leadership meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications- 5-7 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including basic statistical analysis
