Dairy Frozen Manager

Job Overview:

Cub Minnehaha in Minneapolis off of Snelling Ave South is looking for Dairy Frozen Manager to join our team. Dairy Frozen Manager is responsible for leading the dairy frozen department operations, plan, execute and evaluate operations to ensure maximum sales and profit are reached while ensuring positive team environment and exceptional customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead, coach, and develop dairy frozen associates to ensure efficient labor utilization and effectiveness in meeting department objectives
Manage Dairy and Frozen receiving, invoicing, pricing, shrink control and inventory to ensure gross profit goals are met.
Develop effective daily/weekly work plan based on weekly sales projections, budgeted labor goals and previous operating results
Conduct probationary and regular performance reviews in partnership with store leadership.
Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associates.
Perform as Manager on Duty supervising entire store as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned or delegated.

Job Requirements:

Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
High School diploma or equivalent required, associate or bachelor's degree in business, Retail Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of retail leadership, grocery operations, or department management preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Work is performed primarily in a retail grocery environment with occasional travel to other company locations for meetings or business needs.
Social skills and verbal interaction, reading and writing
Walking and standing for up to entire shift, climbing ladders

UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
