Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor?s degreeinMechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experienceimplementingLean platforms, with a proven track record of successful project execution.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is required.
Position Summary:
TheContinuous Improvement Manageris responsible for defining, documenting, and implementingbest-practice packaging technologies, machinery, and material specifications. This role willlead Lean strategy execution, providingteaching, mentoring, and coachingto drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. The position ensures that CI enhancements are effectively implemented, sustained, and aligned withoperational goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities:
Lean Strategy Implementation
- LeadLean trainingand deployment of Lean tools, includingvalue stream management, strategy & objective setting, Kanban, SMED, team problem-solving, and Kaizen events.
- Oversee the development and execution ofLean manufacturing assessments and action plans.
Performance Metrics & Process Improvement
- Develop and implementLean metrics and visual indicatorsto supportline efficienciesand deliverKPIsaligned with the manufacturing strategy.
- Ensurecontinuous monitoring and sustainabilityof process improvements throughstandardized controls and metrics.
Leadership & Coaching
- Providecoaching and mentorshipto site leadership, CI teams, and frontline employees on Lean principles.
- Partner withcross-functional teamsto drive operational improvements and enhance plant performance.
Operational Support & Compliance
- Support manufacturing operations byproviding shift manager coverageas needed.
- Ensure compliance withGood Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety protocols, and food quality standardsto maintain a safe and efficient workplace.
