About the role:Reporting to the Branch Manager you will focus on developing strong customer relationships. Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers and trade customers and the focus of your role is to provide a memorable experience for all customers either in store or over the telephone whilst:
- Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, checking for accurate receival and dispatch of goods
- Assisting customers with pricing and product queries
- Processing counter sales
- Maintaining safety processes
- General Administrative Processes and supporting with telephone and reception enquiries.
- Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment
- Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries
What we’ll love about you: We are keen to hear from jobseekers with a high focus on customer service, attention to detail, problem solving skills, the ability to think outside the square and get the job done. You’ll also have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture, ideally with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise. In addition, you will demonstrate:
- Driver’s license is required and a forklift ticket is advantageous
- Experience working within a sales environment
- Effective written and verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
- Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
