Job DescriptionJoin our team as a Bioinformatics Specialist and play a key role in executing and implementing bioinformatic pipelines to analyze data from Next Generation Sequencing (NGS).
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with safety and health standards at all times.
- Execute internal bioinformatic pipelines for NGS data analysis.
- Develop and implement new bioinformatic pipelines for NGS analysis.
- Perform statistical analysis of data generated from NGS studies.
- Maintain and update programs, tools, and databases to ensure efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Sciences and MSc degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field.
Experience:
- Proficiency in data science: scripting (R, Python, etc.), data analysis (retrieving/manipulating data from public repositories, building/analyzing datasets).
- Knowledge of statistical models and reporting tools (e.g., LaTeX, strong writing skills).
- Valuable: Experience in microbiome data analysis and biostatistics.
