Job Title: QA Lab Technician
Location: Green Bay
Reporting to: Food Safety Supervisor
Starting Pay: $23.80
Essential Job Functions:
- Walk production floors to collect various samples
- Sample Submissions to 3rdparty vendors
- Perform Drug residue testing
- Assist in 3rdparty vendor audits andAid QA and/or FS Supervisor and management in gathering data for investigations.
- Auditing, documenting and enforcing USDA and facility regulations.
- Perform checks and verifications to ensure food safety and quality program is being followed.
- Monitor SOPs, SSOPs, GMPs and perform HACCP procedures to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Maintain lab equipment by ensuring proper cleaning and regular maintenance is performed.
- Data entryand Manage data
Skills/Abilities Preferred:
- Must be self-motivated, trustworthy, and capable of completing all work assignments with minimal supervision
- Good Communication Skills
- Computer skills required
- Able to work 2nd shift when needed and work Saturdays as required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including some Saturdays
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
