Food Talent Solutions has partnered with an establisheddairy manufacturer seeking an experienced Director of Quality Assurance to lead quality initiatives across multiple U.S. manufacturing facilities.
This is a corporate-level leadership opportunity reporting directly to the President, with responsibility for driving quality standards, regulatory compliance, technical expertise, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Role Information
Provide corporate quality leadership and technical oversight across three manufacturing facilities.
Serve as a subject matter expert in cheese manufacturing, processing, conversion, and product quality.
Partner with plant leadership to strengthen quality systems, food safety programs, and regulatory compliance.
Provide technical guidance related to product quality, troubleshooting, customer requirements, and manufacturing improvements.
Lead corporate sustainability initiatives and support evolving customer and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with Operations, R&D, Sales, and other functional leaders.
Position is based in NV, with approximately 25 50% travel.
What We're Looking For
Demonstratedprogressive experience within dairy or cheese manufacturing, with significant exposure to quality assurance, technical services, or food safety.
Strong technical understanding of cheese manufacturing, product quality, and processing/conversion operations.
Experience leading quality initiatives at the plant, regional, & corporate level.
Strong communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, or a related discipline required; advanced degree strongly preferred.
Sustainability program experience is a plus.
