SummaryThis job ensures the Automatic Defect Removal System operates at maximum efficiency and maintains both sanitation and production at optimum levels.
Key Responsibilities- Operates andmonitorsall sorting vision systems (to include ADR Sorting equipment, Whole Potato Sorters, and Optix-LDA) to achieveoptimumdefect efficiency.
- Ensures there is no injury to self or others by following safe work practices (including Standard Operating Procedures) and policies.
- Attend andparticipatein all training activities for the position.Ensure the acquired skills and knowledge are applied.
- Ensure sanitation of equipment and housekeeping of the entire facility.
- Ensure self-compliance with Company policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Provides skilled troubleshooting, repair and support on the vision systems and supporting equipment including mechanical and plumbing, electrical, and electronic aspects.
- Must be able to inspect components of the vision systems and performthe preventativemaintenance procedures.
- Ensure proper food safety, sanitation and cleaning proceduresofthe vision systems.
- Must be able to document, monitor,maintain, andassistwithreporting ofshift events.
- Replaces and repairs belts as well as other routine maintenance on assigned equipment.
- Installs fittings and repairs high pressure hoses,gunsand any other sanitation equipment.
- Performs and records all efficiency/waste sampling.
Typical EducationHigh School graduate or equivalent
Relevant Experience- Must have completed the Job Skill Evaluation successfully
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, divisions and calculate percentages to make proper adjustment as required
- Must have an acceptable safety record.
- Must have an acceptable attendance record.
- Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
