ScopeofPosition:
We are seeking reliable and motivated production hourly employees to join our food manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will safely and efficiently perform production task while maintaining food safety and quality standards.Theywillperform a key role with ensuring that our products are consistently manufactured safely and the specifications of our customersand theywill beresponsible for completing mandatory safety trainings applicable to their specific job assignments, complete all required Food Safety/GMP trainings.
Responsibilities:
- Operating production equipment and machinery safely
- Package, label, and inspect finished products
- Follow food safety, quality, and sanitation procedures
- Maintain a clean and organizedwork area
- Report equipment issues of product concerns to supervisors
- Follow all company policies and safety rules
- Must use proper personal protective equipment effectively.
- Expected to work hands-on at high speedproduction lines
- Inspect meat or meat products and/or packaging.
- Stay aware of your surroundings and notify a supervisor if you recognize a hazard.
- Assist with other production duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diplomaor equivalent preferred
- Previous manufacturing or food production experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive task
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in temperatures are near or below freezing
- Ability to work in damp cold conditions with slippery floors
