From your EXPERTISE to ours
What your day will look like:
As a part of our logistics operations team, you will be responsible for operating a forklift and other material handling equipment to support production & warehouse operations.
From your STORY to ours:
Qualified applicants will contribute the following:
Hours: 2nd shift: 2:30pm to 10:40 pm
Starting salary at $23.23 plus $.50 shift differential. Pay increases occur every 6 months based on employee meeting performance expectations
Ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends and holidays
Plant operation is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Troubleshoot problems with automated robotic palletizers and partner with maintenance staff resolve issues.
Transport raw materials & packaging to production areas.
Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring accurate placement of products in warehouse storage.
Maintain accurate material movements & participate in inventory management.
Assist in training new employees & actively participate in process improvement.
Education:
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
Experience
2 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment is required
All employees must go through a forklift certification course and are required to drive a forklift
Physical requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces
Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms
Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net and gloves when required
Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment
Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions
Willing to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery
Ability to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment
