General Purpose:
Monitors the quality assurance of glass jars loaded onto the production line and oversees the computer and mechanical functions of the Depalletizing unit.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Configures Depalletizer for daily production.
- Performs quality assurance inspections on each pallet before placing onto the line to ensure that problem glass does not enter the line.
- Reports quality assurance issues to Supervisor as they occur.
- Collects data relating to each pallet of jars that enter onto the line.
- Performs Scantrack EBI glass inspection tests and maintains control of all test jars.
- Reports any mechanical problems and completes work orders when necessary.
- Cleans all glass breaks in the immediate work area as they occur.
- Inspects EBI reject jars and collects data.
- Sanitizes glass conveyor/rinser areas.
- Utilize scanners or thin client units to make SAP transaction for the purpose of maintain accurate inventory levels and ensuring reliable product traceability.
- Handles cleaning chemicals in a safe manner utilizing safety equipment such as gloves, eyewear, etc.
- Completes all necessary paperwork accurately and legibly.
- Follows all DFA Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate, regulatory quality, and sanitation requirements.
- Performs items on Master Sanitation lists when production is not running.
- Maintain safe environment and perform other duties in a safe manner at all times.
- Assists in training new operator.
- Ability to function in a team based structure and positively contributes to team based efforts.

- Shift Hours - 2pm - 10pm - Monday - Friday ===Some Saturdays may be required based on product demand
- Starting Rate - $18.50 /.50/hour Shift Differential with Start Times after 2pm
- Rate Increase to $22.67 After 90 Day
- 40 Hours Vacation After (1) Year of Service

Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
- Must be able to attain Forklift Operator License within 30 days of hiring.
