The Pay Range for this Position is $19.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour.
Opportunity tolearnthe Supply Chainand Transportationdepartment whileassistingwith administrative functions that support day-to-day fulfillment and long-term strategicoperations.
- Work with teammates in understanding process and procedures in place andleveragedon a day-to-day basis
- Work with leadership toidentifyopportunities for efficiency gains, reduction of complexity and overhead and drive best in class operations
- Review metrics, data, and industry trends that couldimpactthe department?s ability tomaintaina highly efficient and reliable transportation network of 3rd party carriers and Blount managed carriers to ensure the highest levels of reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Work with leadership on department transformation initiatives to helpidentifyand incorporate the latest best in class industry solutions
- Bring in-class learning into real word scenarios and apply those to problem solving and ideation for technology improvement, process improvements, and improvement in overall operational excellence
- Participate in all team meetings and strategic brainstorming sessions
- Assistin carrierpick upand delivery monitoring and performance
- Participate in Overage, Shortage, and Damaged reviews and actions
Responsibilities for Food Safety
- Responsible for completing required paperwork accurately and honestly as applicable.
- Must adhere to all corporate GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and all Food and Employee Safety policies.
- Must adhere to all Allergen control programs and procedures as applicable.
- Responsible for reporting suspicious packages, activities, and individuals.
- If monitoring CCPs (Critical Control Points),mustbe trained in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and adhere to approved HACCP plan(s).
Required Skills/Abilities
- Proficiencywith Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to learn X3, SharePoint, Tableau, and Safety Chain software programs.
- Ability to multi-task and change focus as needed.

Education and/orExperience
- Degree (B.A.) candidate from College or University or relatedexperience;or equivalent combination of both education and experience.

- This position requiresthe ability totravel,pre-employment andscreening of Motor Vehicle Recordevery two yearsand personal automobile insurance coveragein accordance withthe Blount Fine Foods Employee Handbook.
