Job Summary
We are seeking adetail-oriented and organized Maintenance Parts Clerkto manage inventory, order supplies, and support the maintenance team by ensuring the availability of essential parts and tools. This role is responsible fortracking inventory levels, negotiating with vendors, and keeping accurate records of maintenance supplies. The ideal candidate hasexperience with inventory management, purchasing, and strong negotiation skillsto optimize costs while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferredto effectively communicate with maintenance staff and vendors.
What You?ll Do
- Maintaininventory of maintenance parts, tools, and supplies, ensuring stock levels are accurate
- Order and receiveparts, tools, and equipmentas needed to support maintenance operations
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and termswith vendors and suppliers to optimize costs and ensure timely deliveries
- Track and recordinventory usage, deliveries, and reordersusing inventory management systems
- Issue parts and tools to maintenance technicians, ensuring proper documentation
- Conductregular cycle counts and inventory auditsto prevent shortages or overstocking
- Assist inorganizing and labeling storage areasto improve efficiency and accessibility
- Work closely with themaintenance team to anticipate needs and minimize downtime
- Maintaindetailed records of purchases, work orders, and maintenance logs
- Communicate effectively inboth English and Spanishto support maintenance staff
What You Bring to the Table
?Education:High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate?s degree or technical certification preferred
?Experience:1-2 years of experience ininventory management, purchasing, or maintenance support
?Bilingual:Fluent in Spanish and English(Preferred)
?Negotiation Skills:Ability tonegotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with vendors to maximize cost savings
?Organizational Skills:Ability totrack, manage, and maintain inventory records with accuracy
?Technical Skills:Experience usinginventory management software, spreadsheets, and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
?Problem-Solving Mindset:Ability toanticipate maintenance team needs and resolve supply chain issues
?Attention to Detail:Ensuringaccurate record-keeping and compliance with company policies
?Physical Requirements:Ability tolift up to 50 lbs and move parts and equipment as needed
