Townsend Farms is a family-run agricultural operation located in the Tavistock/Hickson area, specializing in cash crop production and poultry farming. We are seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our team as a part time or full time Farm Worker. The successful candidate will assist with the daily operations of our cash crop and chicken farm, including equipment operation, maintenance, and general farm duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain modern farm equipment (tractors, combines, sprayers, etc.)
- Perform routine repairs and cleaning of machinery and tools
- Assist with poultry care and facility upkeep
- Support seasonal fieldwork including planting, harvesting, and tillage
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:- Previous farm experience is an asset
- Ability to operate and maintain agricultural machinery
- AZ license is an asset but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
