Farm Assistantto help with irrigation, yard work, and mechanical projects on our family farm just one mile from Hodgeville, Saskatchewan. If you enjoy working outdoors, taking care of equipment, and being part of a local community, this could be a great fit.

About the WorkIrrigation:Set up, move, and maintain a
wheel-line system, monitor flow, and keep pumps and pipes in good shape while attending to the dam
Shop & Mechanical:Work in a
heated, well-equipped shopwith tools for mechanical, welding, and light fabrication work; help maintain tractors, small engines, and farm vehicles
Yard & Tree Care:Mow, trim, plant, and keep the farmstead tidy and welcoming
General Farm Help:Assist with seasonal repairs, equipment moves, and occasional errands You’ll be
reporting to an on-site farm managerwho provides daily direction and support as needed. Our management team combines years of experience with a modern, forward-looking approach to farming. There’s always something new to learn and room to grow into bigger responsibilities if you’re interested.
Who We’re Looking For- Grade 12 or higher education
- Mechanical experience or training (small engines, hydraulics, or equipment repair)
- Farm and irrigation experience is a strong asset
- Handy, self-motivated, and takes pride in doing a good job
- Valid driver’s license and reliable work habits
- Friendly, down-to-earth attitude and good references
- Comfortable working independently and following direction
Bonus assets:First Aid, small-engine or equipment-operator certificate, or welding experience
