S&F is a specialty food co-manufacturer with plants in Westbrook, Maine and Chester, Vermont. This seat owns monthly close and inventory accounting, and works in close partnership with the Controller on financial reporting, bank and lender requirements, and in-depth P&L and variance analysis. You will not be handed a clean report to reconcile. You will be the person who builds the answer out of six places it does not exist yet, and then walks it back to the people who can act on it. The seat can be based at either plant, whichever one you can get to. You would work with both regardless, because the numbers do not stop at one plant?s door.
Here is the honest version of the job. The ERP is essentially a database, so most real analysis gets built by hand in Excel from data that does not arrive tidy. Priorities move fast in a manufacturing business, and some weeks the most useful thing you do will not be a core accounting task at all. S&F leans on AI tools and expects the people here to keep finding new uses for them.
