Human Resources Generalist

Our client is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist experienced to oversee all core HR functions, including recruiting, employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, performance management, compliance, and training coordination. This role partners closely with department leaders to support workforce development and maintain a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting and onboarding efforts.
  • Administer employee benefits, payroll, PTO, and 401(k) programs.
  • Partner with managers on employee relations, performance management, and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate employee training, certifications, cross-training, and development programs.
  • Manage attendance programs and staffing needs, including contract labor.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state employment laws.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Maintain HR records and collaborate with leadership on workforce planning.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related experience .
  • Manufacturing experience preferred; food industry experience is a plus
  • 5+ years of HR experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, employee relations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience supporting a 24/7 production environment preferred.
