Purpose/General Summary:Our6-12 month program is designed to give youhands-on experience at our corporate office located in beautiful Greeley, Colorado, withour 1,200 teammembers. This program includes rotation(s)throughoutspecific department of interest. Itis designed to give you real-world experience and a thorough understanding of howcertain departmentsector functions to support the overall strategy of theteam. If you are passionate about learning in aculturally diverse setting to make a sustainable agricultural impact on the global food supply we are interested in you!

Responsibilities:

  • RotationsSpend first 3-month rotation with one of ouraccountingdepartments. After this rotation is completed there could be possibility for full-time placement on that team. If that isn?t an option you will complete another 3-month rotation with a different accounting/financedepartmentor team.
  • Accounting and Finance including but not limited to Balance and Income Statement Analysis, Standard Costing, and Cost Reduction.
  • Researching accounts for receivables, activity, payments, deductions, credits, write-offs. This includes maintaining all proper documentation is in order.
  • Project may entailefforts to lowerexpenses and generate revenue
  • Pulland deliveraccurate financial reportingto the Team
  • Lead a projecttoreduce accounts payable
  • Assisting team withlive projects as needed
  • Complete and present a project related to issues withbeing cost effective and cost efficient.
  • Complete a challenging project that aligns with key performance indicators (KPI?s) and impacts our bottom line.
  • Participate inagroup-based Leadership Development Training session at our corporate U.S. Headquarters in Greeley, CO.
  • Final Placement: the last3months of the program will provide hands-on training in an area of interest with the intention of final placement into a leadership role.


What You Bring (Qualifications):

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
  • Alignment with JBS core values and culture
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work different shifts and occasional weekends
  • Flexibility to relocate

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
  • Base salary rangestarting at$61,000 - $64,500
  • Relocation available if applicable
